Cam Skattebo is just minding his business, and now he finds himself being used as the example of someone having their leg twisted the wrong way.

The standout New York Giants running back won’t be playing any football for months after suffering a gruesome right‑leg injury in late October. Skattebo suffered a dislocated ankle with associated fractures and ligament damage against the Philadelphia Eagles and underwent surgery shortly thereafter at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

The rookie running back, who tried to have a teammate help him to his feet after the injury, had to be carted off the field as everyone was well aware that he wouldn’t be back until the 2026 season.
