EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is a summary of crime reports taken from the Greeley Police Department’s daily logs. Only a few of the hundreds of reports will be used in this weekly column because of space limitations.

9:15 a.m.: A caller had seen five police officers at a school around 3 a.m. that morning and was wondering what happened. Police informed her that the night shift was just conducting a training.

5:30 a.m.: A caller at an unknown address was angry because she was trying to report a crime, but nobody was answering the non-emergency. She reported that the man had a spotlight typically used for deer hunting and was “ripping off everyone’s car.”

9:00 a.m.: A caller at a bank in the 6800 block of 20th Street reported a bat hanging 2 feet away from a night deposit box.
