Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing could reveal a lucky winner of the eighth-largest jackpot in game history.

The Mega Millions jackpot is at an estimated $980 million with a cash value of $445.3 million. This jackpot is the game’s largest since December 2024, when a $1.269 billion jackpot was won on a ticket sold in California.

The drawing for the $980 million prize will be held at 11 p.m. on Nov. 7.

Players can buy tickets at Massachusetts State Lottery retailers across the state until 10:45 p.m. on Friday.

Mega Millions tickets cost $5 each and players must choose five numbers between 1-70, and one Mega Ball number between 1-24.
