The New England Patriots are off to a 9-2 record, and much of their success is due to offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
New England brought McDaniels on board this offseason for his third stint with the organization. He may be eyeing a head coaching position in the upcoming offseason.
The New York Giants decided to part ways with head coach Brian Daboll on Monday. Given the Patriots’ success this season, McDaniels has emerged as a potential candidate for the job. However, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer expressed that he would be quite surprised if McDaniels ended up in New York.
“I would be surprised if Josh winds up being the pick here, but maybe not shocked, because Josh still does check a lot of boxes,” Breer said Tuesday during “Arbella Early Edition”, via NBC Sports Boston
