November may mark the end of the 2025 outdoor racing season in the great Northeast, but on a positive note, it also brings to us the annual Racing Memories program at the Saratoga Automobile Museum. Set for Nov. 29 on its traditional “Saturday after Thanksgiving” date. The six-segment program will have something for everybody, beginning with memorabilia displays and pre-show movies during “Hot Laps,” when the museum opens at 10 a.m., taking place before the formal program, which kicks off at 11:45 a.m.

I believe for most of us the highlight will be the interview of Dodge City Speedway promoter Paul Montenaro by event organizer Ron Hedger. Montenaro will recount over 50 years of his family’s experiences operating the popular Schoharie County attraction in Howes Cave.
