At this point, it’s no newsflash that Ed Orgeron wants to come back as a head coach. It’s been 4 years since his last coaching job, and doesn’t want to wait around anymore. He’s already got the ball rolling, having thrown his hat into the ring at multiple open programs. One of them, however, might not be in the picture for the former coach.
Ed Orgeron is in talks with Arkansas to be Sam Pittman’s replacement, On3’s Pete Nakos reported. But radio personality Bobby Bones is not too keen on seeing him at Fayetteville. “Won’t be this coach,” he wrote on X, sharing Nakos’ post. After Orgeron’s hot-cand-cold tenure at LSU, not many are keen to see him back in the SEC. But it’s also not too far off of a landing spot for someone like Ed Orgeron.
