Darts referee Huw Ware was forced to call out fans at the Grand Slam of Darts on Friday night over their unsporting behaviour.

And Ware's decision to shout towards the fired-up supporters appeared to delight Gerwyn Price during his quarter-final victory.

Price beat Ricky Evans 16-9 in a last-eight clash in Wolverhampton to book a spot in the semis-finals.

During the ninth leg of the match, things took a small pause though, with some poor conduct coming from the tables.

After Price threw a 140, referee Ware delayed his announcement of the Welshman's impressive score.

Instead, he instantly turned towards the fans and shouted into his microphone at them.

Ware said: "Would you stop doing that, please? Seriously!"
