Beckloff, in the Los Angeles court recently reviewed her latest petition and decided that parts of it could not move forward. According to reports, he agreed with estate executors John Branca and John McClain, who asked the court to remove certain sections from Paris’ filing. They argued that those parts were based on the estate’s own legal documents and used California’s anti-SLAPP law, which is designed to stop lawsuits.
