The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) announced that Neighborhood Policing Captain Daniel Francis graduated from the University of Chicago Crime Lab’s Policing Leadership Academy (PLA), a nationally recognized five-month program focused on reducing violent crime and strengthening police leadership.
Captain Francis was one of just 35 law enforcement leaders selected from the U.S., Canada, and Scotland. The program emphasizes data-driven crime reduction, effective leadership, and community trust.
