WASHINGTON — Late actor Chadwick Boseman will be honored with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced it is honoring the late actor Nov. 20. Ryan Coogler, who directed Marvel's "Black Panther ," and Viola Davis, who starred alongside Boseman in "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom," will attend the event.
His wife, Simone Ledward-Boseman, will accept the award on the actor's behalf.
"The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is deeply honored to celebrate Chadwick Boseman’s extraordinary legacy with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His powerful performances and enduring impact both on and off screen continue to inspire generations around the world," Ana Martinez, Hollywood Walk of Fame Producer, said in a news release.
