If you follow Tyler Hynes on social media, you might have seen a video of him getting boo’ed by fans on the 2025 Hallmark Christmas Cruise . There’s a touching reason for why that happened!

The actor was one of 18 Hallmark Channel actors who sailed from Miami to Cozumel with 4,000 fans last week on a four-day adventure, November 7-10.

When the ship docked in Mexico for the one-day stop, two actors ended up leaving the cruise due to a family emergency.

Cruise co-host Nikki DeLoach told fans on the boat during the Saturday night variety show that Paul Campbell had “a very sad family emergency and he’s on his way to Fort McMurray, Alberta and because we don’t let friends do things alone, we asked that his best friend and writing partner, Kimberley Sustad , go with him.”
