Proposed changes to Norfolk’s arena ice allocation policy are getting heat from some user groups.

County staff are recommending changes to the policy, which hasn’t had any major alterations for more than 20 years.

A report prepared by Norfolk’s recreation staff and presented to councillors in October said updates to the policy are necessary to “ensure that the ice allocation and booking processes remain relevant to current usage and demand and promote fair and equitable access to all user groups.”

But not all those groups are happy with the changes.
