In the wake of the government shutdown and its impact on food access, a Minot couple chose to pay it forward with a curbside food pantry.

“At any point in time, he is consistently looking for a see a need, fill a need kind of situation,” said Jesse.
Eric showed Jesse a TikTok about a curbside food pantry, with the idea of starting one of their own.
“See other people that have the need that’s coming out more and more, and then hearing about the government and the ending of SNAP benefits and everybody struggling,” said Eric.
The couple opened a pantry right outside their home in northwest Minot last week.
