RITZVILLE, Wash. — Three people were injured Thursday night after an alleged hit-and-run caused two cars to crash on I-90 northeast of Ritzville.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, two cars were traveling east on I-90 about 12 miles northeast of Ritzville when one vehicle, allegedly speeding, struck the other from behind. The impact caused both cars to spin and the victim’s car rolled multiple times.

WSP said that three people were injured as a result. The suspect fled the scene on foot. Troopers did not say whether the suspect has been arrested, but they said they have probable cause to charge them with felony hit-and-run.
