SOUTH BERWICK, Maine — Step into a world of pure imagination as Marshwood High School proudly presents the musical "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." The show is opening Friday, Nov. 14 at the Wesley E. Kennedy Performing Arts Center and continues for two weekends.
Showtimes are at 7 p.m. on Nov. 14-15 and 21-22. There's also a 2 p.m. show on Nov. 22.
This production features a talented cast of students from grades 3 through 12, bringing Roald Dahl’s timeless classic to life in a heartwarming and whimsical retelling perfect for audiences of all ages.
With a book by David Grieg, music by Marc Shaiman, and lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, it's the story of Charlie Bucket (Ella Cassani), a young dreamer whose life changes forever when he finds a Golden Ticket to the magical Wonk
