A supportive crowd gathered at the Brockville Arts Hub on Friday afternoon, to witness the awarding of 2025 Brockville and Area Community Foundation (BACF) grants.

Every fall, the BACF provides support for projects, programs and initiatives led by qualified non-profit and charitable organizations within the Brockville area.

This program is funded through earnings from the foundation’s pooled community fund and various individual endowment funds . The foundation’s pool for 2025 grew to a record $150,000.

“The generosity of this community has left me speechless a number of times over the last few years,” said Stephanie Steed, executive director of the Brockville and Area Community Foundation in her welcome address to the over 100 people attending.
