WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - The new terminal at Watertown International Airport is officially complete, with upgraded ticketing and baggage claim areas and a new passenger jet bridge.

“This is exciting. I mean, we cut the ribbon and we had a huge crowd here to celebrate the opening of the new terminal,” said Grant Sussey, the airport’s director of aviation. “The airport is a reflection of the community and vice versa, and we worked hard to achieve that here with our artwork with a local artist, and with the seating and then making sure that our customers have a positive experience from the moment they check in, go through security, go upstairs, and then board that airplane through that jet bridge.”
