FORT HAMILTON — THE FORT HAMILTON ARMY BASE WILL GET A NEW CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER, thanks to $31 million in funds that New York’s senators have secured for this construction.

This is one of several projects around New York state for which senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand have secured a total of $104 million in the Fiscal Year 2026 Agriculture-Rural Development and Military Construction-Veterans Affairs funding bills. The senators personally delivered funding for these projects as congressionally directed spending items.
