TRUMBULL COUNTY, OH - On October 14, Senator Bernie Moreno stepped out of Insight Trumbull and Medical Center, marking the start of the reopening process.
But, that process is not short. One month open for the Insight Trumbull County Hospital, and services are slowly starting to come back.
Insight is currently offering outpatient emergency services, and the hope continues to be fully operational by the end of next year.
Trumbull County Commissioner Rick Hernandez spoke with Insight. He said the hospital employees are seeing between 15 and 20 patients a day.
“Our hope is that this hospital will be functioning at full capacity once again, like they had mentioned, at least, get the doors open, and they're even in a hiring process now, so they're looking for RNs,” said Hernandez.
