ELKHART, Ind. (WNDU) - A 66-year-old Elkhart man has been arrested on 10 counts of possession of child pornography following a months-long investigation.

Charles Keen III was arrested on Friday. According to police, the investigation began in January 2024 after investigators received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Police say they executed a search warrant on Oct. 31, 2024, at a home in the 30000 block of Treva Street in Elkhart County. That’s where investigators reportedly seized multiple electronic devices that were forensically examined.

According to police, an arrest warrant was issued for Keen on Thursday. He was taken into custody at his home on Friday and taken to the Elkhart County Jail.
