Mental health services for youth in Perth’s north are set to benefit from nearly half a million dollars in Federal funding, with headspace Joondalup receiving $453,668 to expand its support programs.

The funding is expected to be used to support additional staff, expand individual and group therapies, and strengthen inclusive programs for youth, including First Nations young people and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Federal Minister for Health and Ageing Mark Butler and recently elected Moore MP Tom French were in Joondalup last week to announce the funding commitment and meet the local headspace team.
