The fast food chain known for its steak fries and catchy jingle — “we have the meats” — is quietly shrinking its portfolio.

Arby’s, established over 60 years ago, closed dozens of its 3,600+ locations nationwide this year in a string of closures.

While the news may come as a surprise to many given their “quiet” nature, it also comes as a shock given the brand’s popularity.

According to QSR Magazine , Arby’s accounted for a third of the United States market share for sandwich sales in 2024 trailing only behind Subway and Panera.
