A proposal to raise funding for repairs to Memorial Hall that could range from nearly $14.5 to $16.7 million is to be presented Monday to the Joplin City Council.

Several local organizations are involved in the effort. They are presenting the concept as a way to repair the building and use it for tourism and entertainment, education, and other purposes that could help pay costs to repair and operate the building. ×
