The gas company responsible for 'disruptive' work on two roads that has caused long tailbacks says they have fully reopened.

The A34 Kingsway and A560 Gatley Road will be open in all directions, say Cadent Gas.

Work this month as caused severe delays at the notoriously busy junction in Stockport .

The junction serves the M60 motorway, both clockwise and anti-clockwise, and is also one of the main routes south of Manchester towards Cheshire.

Since November 3, two lanes of the southbound A34 have been closed following the discovery of a gas leak needing 'urgent repair'.
