A 25-year-old Chino Hills man has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run traffic collision last month that left a 30-year-old man dead, authorities said.
Chino police found and arrested the male suspect on Thursday, Nov. 13 just after 11:30 a.m. at his job in Glendale, according to a news release. The man was booked on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident that caused injury, which is a felony.
On Oct. 4 , a suspect hit Cody Genis, 30, on the northbound 71 Freeway on-ramp near Chino Hills Parkway with a vehicle and kept driving. Genis was taken to a hospital where he later died.
The truck police say was involved in the fatal collision, a 2018 Toyota Tundra, previously was discovered and impounded in Azusa on Oct. 10.
