JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - A nearly 400-acre former golf course in Gulf Park Estates will become what’s promised to be the biggest RV Resort in the state.
After a two-year legal battle, the Mississippi Supreme Court ruled the county zoning decision for the developer was legal.
Adam Dial, one of the resort developers, said Ocean Springs Islands RV Resort should open between late 2026 and early 2027.
“[It was] A long and unnecessary legal battle, but we prevailed. We’re so thankful for the forward-thinking leadership of Jackson County,” Dial said. “We’re really looking forward to bringing this great destination development to both the citizens of Jackson County and visitors of the Mississippi Gulf Coast,”
The resort will have 476 RV sites, 20 resort-owned Airstreams, and 16 treehouse
