ANDREWS, Texas (KCBD) - The Lubbock-Cooper Liberty Patriots (10-1) added more history to their already-historic year with a 49-0 victory over the Monahans Loboes- their first playoff win in school history.
Liberty was on the board when RB Talon Wilcox carried the ball across the goal line. Moments later, the ball went back to the Patriots when Jeremiah Luyando recovered a fumble after Lobo QB Dylan Pittman was sacked. The Patriots then took advantage of the field position when QB Colton Bichard scored on the keeper en route to a blowout win.
The Patriots will now face the Graham-Godley winner.
