NEW YORK -- Knicks forward OG Anunoby was ruled out of the rest of Friday's game against the Miami Heat with a left hamstring strain.
Anunoby left the game at the 6:52 mark of the first quarter Friday, after missing a layup and appearing to have an issue with his hamstring. He then headed back to the locker room a short time later, and was ruled out for the rest of the game by the Knicks at the start of the second quarter.
Anunoby, 28, entered Friday's game averaging 17.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, and is coming off playing a career-high-tying 74 games last season - one of two times in his career he's eclipsed 70 games in a season.
