A New Jersey man is accused of cyberstalking a young girl and of making terroristic threats in connection to an extremist group, according to the office of the NJ Attorney General.

Marek Cherkaoui, 21, of Egg Harbor Township, allegedly has a known history of making comments online that include threats and supporting violence, officials said.
In one particular incident, Cherkaoui is accused of talking to a young girl online from December of 2024 until May of 2025 where he allegedly told her to hurt herself in which she did, officials reported.
