No problem for the injury-riddled Knicks, who got a career-best performance from Landry Shamet in Friday night’s 140-132 win over the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden.
Shamet erupted for a career-high 36 points on 12-of-19 shooting off the bench, giving the Knicks a major spark on a night they were short-handed.
He finished 6-of-12 on 3-point attempts and with a point differential of +11.
Brunson missed Friday’s game with a Grade 1 right ankle sprain, while Anunoby suffered a left hamstring strain in the first quarter and did not return.
That led to a season-high 37 minutes for Shamet, who scored 30 points in the second half.
