ORONO -- The Maine Men's Hockey team rolled to a 7-0 victory over Vermont on Friday night at Alfond Arena.

In the first period, Sully Scholle cleaned up a juicy rebound to make it 1-0 Maine.

Albin Boija made a number of saves in the first to keep Vermont off the board. He saved 28 shots on the night.

In the second, the goals came in a flurry for the Black Bears, scoring four in the period. Jeremy Langlois, Josh Nadeau, and Owen Fowler all added goals. Nadeau scored two in the contest.

Maine will look to sweep Vermont on Saturday night. Puck drops at 7PM in Alfond Arena.
