Marion Local has won, again. That's 76 in a row for the Flyers from Maria Stein, Ohio, the longest active winning streak in United States high school football.
This one was simple, a 35-0 cruise past Fort Recovery in an OHSAA Division VII Region 28 semifinal.
Next up is a big one: a regional final matchup with MAC foe St. Henry, a team that all season has seemed like it would have a real chance of ending the winning streak.
St. Henry raced past Cedarville on Friday in their regional semifinal to set up the highly anticipated rematch.
The Flyers played the Redskins way back in Week 3 and pulled out a hard-fought 21-14 win.
