AUSTIN, Texas — A special vending machine is coming to Cedar Park for the holiday season.

"Giving Machines" are set to come to The Crossover sports complex in Cedar Park from Nov. 18 until Dec. 7. This will be the second consecutive year that the machines make an appearance in Central Texas, after they were set up at the Hill Country Galleria in Bee Cave last year .

At each machine, there are about 30 different goods and services that can be chosen from to donate to local charities. At the machine located at The Crossover, visitors will be able to browse item cards, which include items such as meals, medical kits, warm bedding, baby supplies and even a baby goat. They can then choose exactly what to give, and swipe to donate.
