CHEYENNE — After former state Sen. Anthony Bouchard, R-Cheyenne, made online sexual abuse allegations against Wyoming businessman Reid Rasner last year, Rasner sued Bouchard for defamation.

On Wednesday, they met in court.

Bouchard’s accusations hinge on accounts he had heard from his friend and former colleague state Sen. Austin Jennings about Rasner’s conduct, which include that Rasner asked his 15-year-old son, along with other students in a high school dual-credit program at Casper College, to pull his pants down and expose himself, according to an affidavit from Jennings.

A recent affidavit filed by Casper College President Brandon Kosine, however, revealed that the school had no reports of sexual misconduct by Rasner.
