LOGAN — After 10-years of planning, the Ash trees along Canyon Road in Logan are coming down to make way for a water pipe.
Zan Murray, Logan project manager, says they looked at alternatives but that this is the best route, although it’s not a popular decision among residents.
He said the City understands how residents feel and is planning a roadway improvement project to help repair the damage after the project is done. City officials met with impacted residents face-to-face to hear their concerns.
The 60-million dollar project will take a couple of years to complete.
