Knox High School quarterback Myles McLaughlin set the Indiana and national record for touchdowns in a season with his second score in Friday's regional championship game, passing the 68 scored by New Palestine's Charlie Spegal and Albemarle, N.C.'s T.A. McClendon who each had 68. McLaughlin scored four times in a 28-21 victory over Angola.
McLaughlin had 372 rushing yards in addition to his four touchdowns, giving him 11,761 for his career and leaving him 364 yards short of Derrick Henry's all-time mark.
