PROSPER – After combining for 77 points and more than 900 yards of offense in last year’s Class 5A Division II bi-district playoff showdown, a 7-7 halftime score between the Prosper Walnut Grove football team and Arlington Seguin wasn’t exactly on the bingo card for Friday’s rematch.
But the Cougars did their part to bend but not break opposite the Wildcats’ high-powered offense, holding the state’s No. 6-ranked team to its lowest-scoring first half as a result.
