OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) - A man in Marion County is staying in a jail cell after refusing to leave a home that he broke into.
Deputies say 40-year-old Samuel Brooks entered a stranger’s home and sat down on the couch.
They said he locked himself in a back bedroom when the homeowner asked him to leave.
Deputies entered the home and arrested Brooks for trespassing and resisting arrest.
He’s being held on a $5,000 bond.
