EMIGSVILLE — Brooklyn Nace was in seventh grade sitting in the stands the last time Central York was in the District 3 Class 6A final.

He was a ball boy the year after when the Panthers’ potential game-winning field goal was missed against Wilson in the semifinals. There’ve been years of heartbreak since. Last year’s loss to the Bulldogs on the same stage only kept the wounds inflamed.
