CEDAR BLUFF, Ala. ( WBRC ) - The Cedar Bluff Police Department is fully staffed after three months of uncertainty.
Neighbors say they feel safe and protected knowing more officers are patrolling and enforcing the law.
“We’ve seen a lot of crackdown on the speeding in Cedar Bluff, which is a lot better, and we feel a whole lot safer for our restaurant being here just in case of a break in,” said Amber Day.
Back in August of this year, Cedar Bluff Police Chief Jeremy Stepps says rumors circulated that the police department and the court system would be disbanded following the local elections that left two of his officers to make some though decisions.
