That game could’ve been a lot easier. The Lakers were up by as much as 22 against the Pelicans, but LA allowed New Orleans to go on a 12-0 run from the end of the third quarter to the start of the fourth.
This forced head coach JJ Redick to call a timeout and bring his starters back onto the floor. It would’ve been nice if the key players could’ve gotten rest since LA has another game on Saturday, but the reserves couldn’t take care of business. However, they did earn the victory and that’s the most important thing for now.
So, let’s dive into the win. As always, grades are based on expectations for each player. A “B” grade represents the average performance for that player.
