MIDLOTHIAN, Texas – Governor Greg Abbott today joined Alphabet and Google Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai to announce Google’s $40 billion investment in Texas as part of Google’s “Investing in America” initiative. The company’s largest investment in any state in the U.S. will boost cloud and artificial intelligence infrastructure with the development of three new data center campuses, programs to strengthen energy capacity and affordability, and workforce training in the state through 2027.
