SHOSHONE COUNTY, Idaho – Shoshone County is getting closer to appointing a new sheriff following Holly Lindsey’s resignation last month.
County commissioners are set to meet next week to decide who will assume the role. The Democratic Committee has narrowed down the candidates to three finalists after hosting a public forum.

Interim Sheriff Lance Stutzke, who has been leading the office since late October, is also seeking the appointment.
