BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Fans, characters, celebrities and everything in between filed into the Cross Insurance center for the 2025 Queen City Expo Friday.

The event saw a whole host of comic enthusiasts as fans dressed up as their favorite characters.

Notable names that will be appearing at this year’s expo include Tom Kenny, the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants, and actor and comedian Tom Arnold.

Arnold is known for his roles in the show ‘Roseanne’ and the film ‘True Lies.’

The chance to meet these cultural icons stirred up excitement for many local fans, such as David Mallory.

“Meeting new people like the celebrities that aren’t from around here, that do movies or cartoons and all that stuff, is once in a lifetime,” Mallory said.
