Whether it was the 2024 Lok Sabha elections or the 2025 Bihar Assembly polls, Rashtriya Janata Dal's (RJD) Tejashwi Yadav dominated the campaign landscape.

Just like in 2024, he addressed rally after rally, day in and day out. His attacks on the Centre and the state government remained fiery and he emerged as the undisputed voice of the opposition.

From his job promise to his social-media game, he stayed hugely popular among young voters, especially within RJD’s young voter base.

But none of it translated into votes, not for his party and not for him. Bihar’s mandate is decisive, and the RJD has performed poorly.
