Twelve passengers were injured when a TGSRTC bus from Nizamabad to Warangal collided with a lorry at Sadasivpalli, Manakondur mandal, Karimnagar. The injured were shifted to the district hospital. Police suspect over-speeding and have launched an investigation.
Karimnagar: Twelve passengers were injured in a road accident at Sadasivpalli in Manakondur mandal on Saturday when a TGSRTC bus travelling from Nizamabad to Warangal rammed into a lorry moving ahead of it.
Of the 60 passengers on board, 12 sustained injuries and were shifted to the Karimnagar district headquarters hospital in a 108 ambulance. Over-speeding is suspected to have caused the accident.
Police visited the spot after receiving information and registered a case. Investigation is on.
