The Community Foundation of Greater Peterborough celebrated National Philanthropy Day with its annual Vital Community Grants announcement, which took place at the New Canadians Centre on Friday.

National Philanthropy Day is celebrated annually in Canada on Nov. 15, said Katelyn James, co-ordinator of granting and stewardship at the Community Foundation of Greater Peterborough (CFGP).
