Five high school football teams from the Akron area are advancing in the OHSAA playoffs.

The remaining teams will compete in four games.

Game sites for the Nov. 21 matchups will be announced on Sunday, Nov. 16.

As the high school football playoffs continue this week, five Akron-area teams will continue their dreams of a state title.

The remaining teams will play in four games, with Highland playing Hoban in the Division II, Region 5 championship. Sites for all games will be released Sunday, Nov. 16.
