Philadelphia, Pa. ― There is a chance that Syracuse could get starting guard JJ Starling back for the Orange’s game today against Drexel.
Starling, a 6-foot-4 senior, sat out the Orange’s 83-43 victory over Delaware State last season after suffering an injury to his right leg in the team’s season-opener against Binghamton on Monday, Nov. 3.
Starling will be a “game-day’' decision, according to SU director of athletic communications Pete Moore.
That is a sign of improvement since the Orange’s last game.
Syracuse and Drexel will play as part of the Basketball on Broad double-header at the XFinity Mobile Arena today. Penn State and LaSalle will meet at 1:30 p.m. with the SU-Drexel following at approximately 3:30. Both games will be streamed on Peacock.
