Amelia Park Children’s Museum announces return of the Penguin Plunge

WESTFIELD — Amelia Park Children’s Museum announces the return of the Penguin Plunge on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Hampton Ponds State Park. Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m.

The 2025 iteration of Penguin Plunge, one of the museum’s largest fundraisers, was abruptly canceled in January, with Diane Chambers, executive director of the museum, citing “unforeseen circumstances.” With 2026 approaching, however, she expressed excitement in the event’s return.
